Whatever happened to Sam Raimi? I just rewatched Darkman, and he was once so utterly brilliant.

I think the last film of his that I liked was The Quick and the Dead, but the last film of his that I really loved was Army of Darkness. Which was 20 years ago.

Update: The only thing that would make Darkman better were if it were 99 minutes long.
